What should we pay attention to in the application of vehicular network video surveillance?

With the improvement of economic level, the increasing of urban traffic means and the increasing traffic pressure in cities, the vehicle-mounted network video surveillance system is mainly used in vehicles. The application environment of vehicle-mounted DVR is very different from that of ordinary DVR. Therefore, the following issues need to be fully considered in the application of vehicle-mounted DVR:

1. Seismic resistance

_Because of the different vehicle and road conditions, the anti-seismic technology has become the most basic requirement for the host computer of network video surveillance. It includes the whole machine shock absorption, hard disk shelf shock absorption, hard disk shock absorption and other links to achieve the whole monitoring host shock reduction processing. Among these shock absorption links, hard disk vibration reduction is the most important. This is because the most vulnerable part of the monitoring host is the hard disk. If the hard disk is damaged, it will not be able to store the situation in the car, so the problem of hard disk vibration reduction is particularly important.

_2. Power Supply Safety

_The equipment used on the vehicle needs professional wide voltage power supply on the vehicle, which can adapt to various vehicle voltages. The range of application is 8V36V. It has the functions of over-voltage protection, under-voltage protection, short-circuit protection and over-current protection. At the same time, the monitoring host adopts low-power design, which effectively reduces the burden of the battery on the vehicle, makes the circuit system on the vehicle safer and does not bring negative impact on the normal use of the vehicle.

3. Strong Network Function

_Vehicle-borne network video surveillance equipment needs to upload video information, vehicle information and GPS information to the monitoring center. It needs the help of 3G and 4G networks. At present, 3G and 4G networks are relatively expensive. Therefore, vehicle-borne equipment needs strong network capabilities to reduce the network usage of 3G and 4G to save the cost of use. Therefore, for vehicular DVR, it is necessary to have the following network functions:

_Network adaptation: According to the limited bandwidth and unstable connection of wireless network, network coding and transmission strategies are automatically adjusted to adapt to different network conditions.

_Remote management: multiple alarm information reporting and equipment network settings, upgrades and maintenance management functions;


_Network handover: Automatic handover between 3G/WiFi networks is realized, and various network advantages are effectively utilized.
