  On June 8, the last fuel bus of the Shenzhen Bus Group was replaced by a pure electric bus, marking the Shenzhen Electric Bus Group's comprehensive electrification of public transportation. Up to now, Shenzhen has promoted 14,695 pure electric buses, with a pure electricization rate of 90%. A total of 176 bus charging stations were built in the city, 3,354 charging piles and 1,265 charging piles under construction.



  The 5,698 operating vehicles of the 364 bus lines of the Shenzhen Bus Group have all been updated to pure electric buses. The group is also the first among the three bus franchise enterprises in Shenzhen to complete the comprehensive electrification of public transportation. The other two bus franchise companies, the Eastern Bus and the West Bus, said that they will fully electrify the bus by September 30, 2017.



  The number of demonstration and promotion of new energy vehicles in Shenzhen ranks among the top in the country, and the pace of construction of charging facilities is accelerating, and all parties in the society are encouraged to participate. It is understood that Shenzhen has introduced 40 new energy vehicle charging facilities operation and registration companies such as Putian New Energy and BYD Company to undertake the construction of supporting charging facilities in the city. And it is planned to realize 100% pure electrification of taxis by 2020.
